There is no virus in WinVNC.
Some versions of McAfee virus scanning software reports that there's a "new backdoor" virus in WinVNC. This is due to McAfee's Heuristic Virus detection mistakenly identifying WinVNC as a virus. McAfee's website has a suitable extra.DAT to fix the problem until the next full DAT release.
