Hi there! I am a research engineer here at ORL. I started in late October 1996 having just finished my PhD at the University of Manchester. My PhD work was undertaken in the CAD group of the department of Computer Science, and attempted to provide a flexible and extensible simulation environment that emphasised the re-use of existing simulation models and simulation software. You can find it, along with some of my other publications, here. I graduated on the 18th December 1996 and you can find some pictures from the graduation ceremony here. As with most people at ORL, I wear an active badge. This means you can find out where I am in the building by clicking here. Normally, I am in the OMNI room, which is on the second floor. Currently, however, I have moved over to the `alternative' ORL site in Mount Pleasant House.
