omniORB_2.5.0 - Changes since release 2.4.0

Changes since 2.4.0.

This document describes the new features and changes from 2.4.0 to 2.5.0. A list of the changes from 2.2.0 to 2.4.0 is also available. It is particularly important that you read this list if you are upgrading from 2.2.0 directly to 2.5.0

TypeCode and Any

• The main change from 2.4.0 to 2.5.0 is that this release contains support for TypeCode and type Any. Please refer to the omniORB 2.5 documentation for more details on TypeCode and Any (available in the distribution and on-line at http://www.uk.research.att.com/omniORB/omniORBDocumentation.html ).

Bug Fixes

• All bugs reported since 2.4.0 have been fixed.
